We stopped in to the Flume Gorge..  what a sight!

Lichen grows here..  ugh!

On a hot, humid day, it's so much cooler in the Flume

Then off to Cannon Mountain Tramway

Bullwinkle was grazing on the Northbound side of the parkway!

And home for a fire!

Middle pond

Whoaa..  Seventy feels great!!

Talk about feeling great... Lobster Moet'd

Nothing like fire by the poolside...

Street graffiti is just plain fun..

I took this tree stump trees' picture in three different seasons before it was accidently cut down. Those pictures have been on here before but I'll have to dig them up again... I think I see a ghostly image in foliage showing from the trees behind it.

The view from a customer's driveway.

I said they were building a new antenna on the mountain, I just don't know if it's an additional one or a scheduled replacement.. time will tell if we see the old one come down..

Those 'weeds' in the yard sure flower up nicely!

The bees are all over these..

This is why it's so important to have nice weather on days off..

what a sight

A load of hay, a load of hay. Make a wish and go away.  -Mae A. Fox.. b. 9/8/1908

Remember the 'crazy neighbor'?  His house is burned and gone but this was his view.  Some woman was sleeping on the rock when we arrived up there!

Somewhere along the class 4 road from Athens to Putney.. a hand-cut log cabin.

One fine day on the four wheeler.. this is actually very close to LenTex.

Sunset on from Fall Mountain.

Pink reflected on the Connecticut River.

One of the flat-beds bringing up an excavator got stuck in the gate roadway..

L&B pulled him out of his jam..

In addition to the cellphone pics page, more evidence of some big work going on at the antenna.

Out in the woods, we found a tree that had been reduced to firewood-sized pieces by a beaver..

Just as we found it!

Those tall weeds in the back yard really DO flower!!

Not really a daisy, not a sunflower and not a brown-eyed susan...

Hazy August days are going to end sooner than we like...

Raging up the mountain on the four-wheeler not only lets me get great scenic pics...

I also get to launch up there and explore places that I wouldn't have the time or energy to get to if I had to start out walking from the house...

The full green feels great on the soul..

Roses...

..are red..

Four-wheelers are blue..   hehehe
